It all began when a doctor wanted to pray for a woman suffering from breast cancer

Now it’s become a temple for all sorts of women health issues

And has thousands of plaques, as prayer offerings, with breasts on them – of all shapes, sizes

Most of our temples in India would give it a run for it’s money, no ? Whether it’s Ajanta-Ellora, Konark, the step-wells around Ahmedabad, the temples in Belur-Haleebidu or even the (infamous) Khajurao – the female form is so beautifully and artistically depicted, you don’t really understand what our so-called, self styled moral guardians are about when they ask our women to cover up, saying ‘It’s not in our culture’
